Well, its been 1 month since LifeHoo went live back in December 27th, 2006. Things are moving as fast as I was hoping for but lots of people sure wants the free Ipod!

A friend of mine suggested that it would "nice" to display some entries on the front page.
So I'm trying this feature out on the main Goals page for now. I'm display 2 most recent entries, with a link to view all re cent entries.
I'm hoping this will encourage users to write more entries as they become more visible.
However, I didn't want to push the goals cloud to far down the page so users can quickly see the cloud.
I think this will work for now.

You can now add your LifeHoo list of goals or emotions to your website! Simply Log into your account, and click on "Add LifeHoo! to your website" to get the code.
This is what it looks like...and the items are tied to your list in real time as you add new goals/emotions or re-order them.

Okay, so after months of hardcore development, I'm excited to say that LifeHoo! has been launched, although just to a selected number of users at this time.
This way, I can fix bugs and add essential features based on what some friends suggest before telling the rest of the world.
When I first wanted to create a site like this, I had quotes from some web development companies for upwards of $20,000 - $30,000 USD! Well I don't have that kind of money!
So, deciding to create the site myself, its been a great experience. I've learned so much about Ruby on Rails. But now getting users to start using the site is what will make my work more exciting. So this is only the beginning!
