Generally aged/handicapped poor people are not in a position to earn their bread/food. so by donating a small amount can earn their bread for one day. small amount may not be a problem to any body. so by keeping some percent 5-10% from our total earning separately and donating regularly keeps you(consciously happy) and the receiver keeps happy.
