Always wanted to visit Big Bend National Park. Finally got the chance to do it and I did it. Crazy thing was...did it alone. I drove 9 hrs through west Texas and spent 2 days in the desert park, eating only military rations. Scary, but something I think everyone should experience. Going through just a mini-survival definitely makes you aware of yourself.
